Mattress surfing might have to be added onto the list of things they probably shouldn't do, in case he got squished again. Or worse, in case she got hurt. Really, this was just as bad as them trying to do homework in each other's company. He looked over at her and tilted his head, still lying on the floor. Was she okay? She was rubbing her head... so...

... But then she moved away and he let out a small chuckle at her words. "Erm... well... it was your first go, right?" he said, trying to reason with her, "Nobody can be perfect on their first mattress surfing slide." So don't fret, girlfriend. "I... don't... it's fine!" And he even grinned a little at her. "You're not hurt, though, are you?"
Big smiles for the boyfriend. Cause hugs and he was cute and she liked him lots. Mhm.

They needed to move, yeah? They were sort of blocking the bottom of the slide and the only thing worse than falling off their mattress was falling off and then being squished by another mattress coming down the slide. Ella liked to eat pancakes but she didn't fancy being one.
No. No frowning allowed, okay? Ella quickly stopped touching her head and scooted closer, checking the boy for any signs of injury instead. He'd sort of broke her fall so she was really more worried about him, y'know. She cracked a small smile and stood up slowly at his words, dusting herself off.
"I guess I need more practice then." Though considering that performance, Alec probably didn't want to go down with her again. The blonde held out her hands to him, wanting to help him up.
"I'm not hurt. You broke my fall and I just hope I didn't break you."
