And now they were going in circles? How were they ever supposed to get anywhere in these things? Would it have killed the new Groundskeeper to put in row boats so Airey could do all the work? "Fine we can do it your way." And in doing that Callie slackened her pedaling all together, although every now and then going opposite him to make more circles. For spite and entertainment.

"That makes sense, is--" she almost said he or she but the blonde actually didn't remember if the rock had been personified in her friend's mind as male or female, and it was also a rock. "Pebbles in the Lake?" A valid question which would put meaning behind why they were in the boat besides spending time together.

"Have you tried summoning Pebbles?"
Smiling triumphantly at Calista, Airey peddled a little faster and more enthusiastically knowing that they would now finally make progress and, well, move forward and not in circles. The astronomer was blissfully unaware of the Divination professor's counter productive measures, however, and didn't notice they were still going in circles. For now at least. "Thank you." Trust the scientist to know about movement, alright Miss Seer?

And then they were back on Pebbles and his face dropped a bit. Not to mention what that gossip rag had written about him. Attention seeking indeed. At least it had put the news out there that his pet rock was still missing. Good press or bad press, at least everyone was in the know now if they had not been already.

"I don't even know where she is exactly," he grumbled. Logic, Calista. "I'd hate to have a rock flying through the air and smack right into the forehead of one of our students." He continued to peddle some more. "I'm beginning to think I should maybe....give up." As in it was a lost cause. "I just don't know what other pet would....suit me."
