She picked up the toy mouse and turned around, "I think someone dropped this. " she said holding out the mouse. Adelaide felt horrible as she saw the mouse bounce off of the other girl's head. "That's mine." She stated feebly as she grabbed it from the younger students hand. "Sorry 'bout that. I misjudged my toss."
She took the mouse and went back to sit, figuring out the best way to change her approach so that she didn't let the mouse hit someone else again. Adelaide turned her body and opted for dropping the mouse from next to her desk.
She stood up and dropped the mouse, pointing her wand at it and saying "Arresto momentum." She was excited when she thought it had stopped, but then it slowly fell back to the ground. Almost there.
