He paused by the statue, noting a Gryffindor girl sitting close by whom he had seen in some of his classes. He looked from her to the statue and up at it's face, then his eyes rested on the plaque. 'Gregory the Smarmy'. “No wonder he looks so smug with a name like that.” He said to the to the girl, his eyes still on the plaque as he read the history of this guy. Schuyler took a turn around the statue to make sure Kitty was still there with his bug. Occupied as ever, there the kitten was with his moth. Entertained by the simplest of things. Hmmh. She heard a voice a moment or two later - a guy's voice, because it was kind of low - and she turned to see who it was. She recognized him. He had a distinct face that made him seem foreign. But she'd never met him and she couldn't place his name.
"I've actually never heard this word, 'smarmy,'" Schuyler admitted, now surveying the statue's face instead. Smarmy, smug. Maybe they were synonyms. She didn't really like the look of this statue, of this Smarmy character. What was he thinking about? Or scheming about?
