"Great" she said, "
who is going to row first?" she asked.
"I would not mind, yet if I row then it won't be so fast." Justing putting it out there.
"
We need to work out logistics before we get on the boat though, including the rowing location. These logistics will determine where each of us sit and therefore the order of our boarding the boat" She would not mind the boat overturning... yet the others would.

And she didn't really think not wearing a life jacket would be all that life-threatening since she could swim and had her wand with her, but she grabbed one anyway and quickly slipped it on as Sarah and Alexa chose a boat. And Sarah seemed set on trying to figure everything out before they even got in the boat.
"You can row if you want, Sarah." Penelope didn't really care who did, and it had been Sarah's idea to begin with, so letting her row seemed fair enough. "I dunno if we have to choose a location right now though. Why not just row around and stop wherever we feel like?" The lake was the lake so it was all pretty much the same, so it didn't really matter where they stopped at all that much in her mind.
Even Penelope agreed the beater's aspect was the funniest.
"Wouldn't it be epic if Alice let us all try for beater during one of the tryouts?? Imagine all the bats swinging and bludgers flying." It would look like a really gruesome tryout...and she imagined at least one person would end up having to see the healer but that was half the fun yeah?
She looked to Sarah who'd been going on about rowing and logistics. Whoa. Stop. No. She'd only just come off of vacation, no need for talk like that. She nodded at what Penelope said, trying to put an end to it.
"You can row if you want, I'm in no real hurry to get somewhere on the lake. If you get tired you could just let me know and I'll take over." There, volunteering to row without actually volunteering because she wouldn't if she didn't have to.
Lex grabbed hold of the boat they'd chosen.
"Let's get it on the lake then!"
