So. Jake had a beard. And he wasn't happy about it. The thing was... bushy. And short. Like barely long enough to be rightfully called a beard. So the Prefect was frowning and scratching at it. It would disappear after the class, right?

...And now there was paint. Jake stared down at the red paint on his desk. When he heard the instructions... he just blinked. Dip the beard. In the paint. Really, it shouldn't have surprised him. It wasn't like he was attached to the beard, anyway. ...Figuratively. So he could get paint on it.

Feeling like a complete fool, Jake dipped his beard up to his chin in the red paint. He quickly and carefully moved over his parchment and... let the paint dribble. It all ended mostly in one big glob. But whatever. He was done.
