He had been able to keep his part of the castle tidy on his own without any house elf assistance. "Ah, blueberry. One of my favorites." And it went quite well with his coffee.
Summoning a clean cup, Airey prepared a cup of raspberry tea for Miss Wisteria and then placed it down in front of her.
And then she got right down to business. Pretty serious business in fact. The sort of business that Airey had learned to tread lightly around the Slytherpuff who had more hiss in her than badger. "Your brother is starting Hogwarts this year?" he asked, momentarily distracted by his curiosity. Right. Back on topic because this clearly was going to be affecting Miss Wisteria. "I see...and were you hoping he would be sorted elsewhere?"
N'awww. We're not gonna make a habit out of this, so don't get any ideas, Airey. "No problem." Smile. It was no problem, honest, since she'd been looking for a muffin for her too. So, yeah. The smile only widened when she heard his next words. NOTED. Blueberry is Airey's favorite and now we know what to get next time. Hopefully, the elves won't mess up and move the muffins around a lot.
And now she had tea. See? It paid to be nice to Professors and authority sometimes. Vinteren should've been nice to her. "Thank you." ^^
Airey shouldn't look worried about this, she was okay. Finally. So, the girl smiled and nodded, "First year," and just as Slytherin as she was, he lacked the loyal trait sometimes, though, "No, I mean, I kind of figured that's where he'd go, it... didn't surprise me, it was expected...," as much as she'd expected to be a Slytherin back then, but..., "It's all fine, really, my family sent me a bunch of letters to make sure I was alright." She smiled again. He knew about how she felt they didn't care about this, but they did care about her, and were proud of her too, soooo, "That definitely cheered me up." And we're sharing with you, Professor Airey, because this is the end of the story she'd been telling you all along.
He should know the ending. Now we can drink some tea. |
