Still embarrassed from another lessons start. She decided to try to move past it though and just deal with what she was good at. Lessons.
Giving the professor a bigger smile Minerva walked over closer to him. "Hello Professor, welcome to Hogwarts. My name is Minerva Wheatborn." She then turned and found her comfort seat of the front. Pulling off her bag from her shoulder she set it on the ground and pulled out her parchment, book, and quill. Noticing some odd looks towards the professor Minerva turned her head to look at him. Had she missed something before she had entered? Or were these looks towards her. Putting her hand to her face, no the beard was fully gone, but they all knew it had happened. Slinking down in her chair she figured it best if she stayed quiet until class began.
"Hi, hello, all right there. Yes, have a seat, Minerava. Minerva Wheatborn. Too right, Wheaborn. Strong ties to the Vikings with a name like that." Quote:

Except for number 333. Because the three threes together looked cute. For some reason Derry wasn't entirely sure of.
"The paint is for AR1THMANCY, which is the class you are currently in, well done yes thank you." Quote:

Paints? Oh, they weren't doing THAT, were they? Theo sucked at that stuff.
"Hi, professor." New professor. Why was that sign on the chalk board written with numbers? That wasn't clever, just annoying. OH THEY WERE STARTING... maybe he WAS almost late.
AEHGHG.... COnFUSED.
Theo stood up and shouted, "SIX!" "AH yes, please have a seat Prefect. Welcome to class, thanks please yes. You of course know that PRE-fect comes the CHIN3S3 word FECT, which means to decorate. So a PRE-FECT is BEFORE decorations, quite literally." Quote:

Something was up with this guy. He looked like an innocent old man, but clearly that was just a front.
"Better do, yes. I would, yes. Please be comfortable." ...shout it? Really? Well, okay... Adrienne stood up. "FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY TWO AND THREE QUARTERS." Chuckle. Quote:

Until the class started that is. First random number that comes into her mind. Kat stood up, even if she didn't want to. Merlin, what prediction would this Santa Clause wannabe make?
"NINETEEN." "Yes, nice. Facts are important to your education, yes please. Great. N1N3T33N!!! yes exactly right!" Quote:

She had never been good at math.. so this was going to be a nightmare she could already tell. "Yes, hello, please have a seat. Good day." Quote:

Of course, there were some letters thrown in there for good measure. "R2-D2!"
Heh. "Exactly! Brilliant answer!" Quote:

As it was, the prospect still put her in a foul mood. She didn't bother to properly say hello to the new Arithmancy professor but instead nodded in his direction before taking a seat. Even though she hated the class, she was grateful that Adrienne had reminded her to go. For some strange reason she seemed to have forgotten that she was even taking Arithmancy. Weird. She sighed as she pulled out her books and waited for class to begin. "Okay then!" Quote:

She would wear or carry the HEAD around her neck and was given status among her peers, hence the name Head Girl. Congratulations!"

"Yes, I see that, well done, please have a seat great thanks. Asher, yes, great name. Of course, that's Native American in origin, as is the origin of Hufflepuff."
----------------
"No, of course not, no no, don't confuse the class, please. It was Jeremy. Right around the time of the fifth annual goblin Olympics."
----
"Yes, isn't that interesting." No. "I assure you, as I am the professor, that it was a Jeremy Phillipe Gryffindor and he was a completely non-violent being. Some even speculated he was a few ingredients short of a potion, if you follow, yes well done, great then."------------ "I am Professor R. French. This is Arithmancy ONE ZERO ONE, one hundred one, ONE OH ONE and we will begin, yes well done. TWO," he held up two fingers, "DAY we will begin with a lesson."
Yes. Okay. "And that lesson involves INTERPRETING random numbers. Can everyone please stand up and shout out the first random number that comes to mind now."
And go.
Sarah had to contain her laughter, "I doubt that is how head girl about, as Head girl is also a post in Muggle schools in Britain. Also, no girl will ever kill unless she has to under self defense or unless that girl is terribly blood thirsty, which is not a natural trait of women." She tried to hold her laughter in, yet the reply that was given to Asher, " Asher is actually a Biblical name, one of Jacob's sons'. This was comical. " Professor, in the Library there is a book called Hogwarts A History and in it you will find otherwise. There are also several books that mention it - I suggest you check it out"
Sarah liked the puns though, yet then the last thing came. The first thing that came to mind was message which was 1..D..10..T, which Sarah converted to numbers using Pythagagrean Arithmancy "" 79669194962" she called out. She wondered if West or other students understood what she was saying "Doubt in Arithmancy is the path to FA1LUR3! N0 more doubting! Know or listen, one or the other. In your case, more listening. Please don't confuse my class!" Quote:

French pointed to WEST 0D3SSA, "then you need to give a number! Any number you think of. Random! Yes please thanks!"
