Her attention was still on the phone that he'd dropped by the time he replied to the question, and she smiled in return to the fact that it was pleasant.

"Mine was really good!" she exclaimed happily, a toothy grin on her face as she thought of the muggle amusement park that her brother had taken her to.

Felefone???

Kahlan was pretty sure that he was talking about the telephone but at that point in time she didn't have the heart to correct him given the enthusiasm that he was showing about it.

"Yes!" she almost yelled, a small blush forming on her face as she realised what she'd just done... "Um... I mean... you should before the muggle hangs up or something..." she continued awkwardly, looking at the ground

She almost felt sorry for this poor muggle...

The pureblood was so caught up with the phone and the two Professors being there to notice as Forrest burst in until he called a hello.

And another grin formed on her face as she refrained from hugging him with all the excitement because of the two other people in the room.

"Hey Forrest! This is amazing isn't it? Music things, and those things and felefones!" she said, jumping slightly as she pointed at things...

Hold on! Did she say felefones?

Her brow furrowed as she thought of how she'd said it the way that Airey had said it. "Um... I mean telephones..." she murmured, a small blush on her cheeks.

Spinning at the new voice in the room the blonde noticed the DADA Professor standing there - looking just as awed by everything in the room.

And while the second year loved her class, she hated the yoga that it involved... she just wasn't flexible and always walked away from that class with aching muscles!

Still she smiled, "Hi Professor, hope your summer was good"

And then she seemed just as excited as Professor Airey that the phone was working... though she had to admit a part of her wanted to run over and try it herself!
