Very kind of him? She did know that it was just tea right? well, whatever. The Hufflepuff must be a very polite kid. Walking back to his chair, the man sat down again and took a sip of his strawberry flavored tea before looking at the girl as she talked about missing things from last term.
Deciding not to comment on that, he merely nodded his head and took another sip from his tea. No sugar, just how he liked it. Which reminded him, he had not even asked if she wanted some sugar in the tea or not. Well, she had a mouth right plus she could talk so if the Hufflepuff wanted some all she had to do was ask right?
Oh, a question back? Nick cleared his throat and scratched his beard "I did attend Hogwarts, i was sorted in Gryffindor house" he answered and his eyes lit up with pride for a second. "I was house mates with Professor Flamsteed and Professor Dursley" in case she was interested. AND.....HOW DID THOSE TWO EVER BECOME PROFESSORS?! They had been the biggest weirdo's and he could bet a few galleons that they still were.
Yes, we're very polite.
Also, since we were meeting Lex later on and she'll have lots of sugary treats, we're skipping sugar this time. It wasn't unusual for Lottie to do this. Something must have stuck with her after ALL of Oakey's fights against unhealthy treats and whatnot. That was nice, actually.
So, there was more waiting for the tea to be drinkable and... hey, he's not much of a talker, is he? That meant he was thinking, hopefully, and if he was thinking... then he was one they needed to be wary of. But he reacted well to sad faces and big smiles, so... he wouldn't be a problem.
Yes, Mr. Groundskeeper, we're studying you. And will not make assumptions, but still. Studying.
OH! Gryffindor! SHE LOVES GRYFFINDORS! You know, Queen Alice, Lex, Tag, Airey, awesome people. Penelope was cool, too, and Anya and Jake. And that's pretty much it. She will never count that Tiberius fellow with the cool Gryffindors. Though, something told he wasn't cool when he came to Hogwarts. "That's so good to hear! I like Gryffindors." Mmmhmm. She probably shouldn't generalize. ZOMG! HEWENTTOHOGWARTSWITHAIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
FORGET ABOUT THE TEA! "WOW. YOU WERE?! What was he like!?" Excited much? You think? "Professor Flamsteed, I mean." The other one she cared not for. But she wasn't going to say that to the groundskeeper. Nope. So, now we drink tea, because this is too exciting. |
