Well, Bristol either didn't notice his silliness or decided not to comment on it. In any case, it allowed Forrest to compose himself and be back to his usual, care-free self. "Yes!" he answered her excitedly and grinned smugly. "We've won it for the past... 5 years? This year won't be any different." It wasn't even worth discussing. They were the best, and they acted accordingly. "There's broom cupboard there," he pointed at its direction; "and that one's staff room. We're not allowed to enter though." He shrugged. "We can visit them at their offices anyway, so no big deal... That one's the bulletin board, you can hang notices there too if you lose anything... but I don't know what that room is." He was pointing at the governor's room, and his hand fell absent-mindedly to his side as he frowned. He wasn't seeing it for the first time of course, but rather he had just noticed it.
Well. If he didn't know it, it was unimportant?
Bristol really, REALLY hoped they'd win it this year again, because then she'd be able to say that she helped keep that wining streak for them. "Five years is a long time," she whispered in awe and grinned. "We can definitely make it six," she grinned moar and elbowed him softly. Especially when you have the best friends EVER on the scene. They would just scoop up the points with their awesomeness for sure.
More words of Forrest's.
She followed his finger as he pointed the places out and politely waited until he'd finished speaking to bombard him with ALL DA QUESTIONS. "Brooms! Quidditch!" Okay. So that wasn't a question, but it just slipped out. "Have you ever lost anything at Hogwarts?" Or maybe he still had got things lost; in which case, she'd help him find them again. "You don't know? .. Can we ... go in it?" Please, like pretty please? It was an adventure!
Though ... she didn't want to get Forrest in trouble. ARGH, CONFLICTED. |
