Malcolm had wandered off on his own getting to know the building fairly well so he wouldn't get lost, whenever he was on his own. Making his way to the Gryffindor common room he noticed a young girl standing next to the statue.

Not really knowing who this person was, he simply waved and smiled at her.

Maybe she needed a friend?

Or she was happy on her own? Hm...
