Ariel grinned and shook his hand. "It is very nice to meet you as well, Stan." She'd had plenty of people tell her it was 'lovely to meet her' before, but Stan appeared to actually mean it. That was a pleasant change.

Ariel's faced paled at the request. Nonononononononono. No, that was okay. She was going to stay right where she was. A wave of terror crashed over her as she tried to regain her composure.

The girl shook her head politely. "No thank you. I'll watch you from over here," she declared.
