The boy ended up winning, since she bought him food, after all. He was easy to cheer up, right? Hopefully. Her true intention hadn't been to annoy him. For real? Well, who cares?

"You would've looked adorable with the little kids." Truth. Or really not, but it was still funny. "Plus, you have a bright future in arts and crafts, might as well start now." Now, we all know she's kidding about this. His future is in Quidditch, where the requirements do not include 'well-spoken'.
