A summer festival was the PERFECT thing to take the family to, in this time of.. sadness. Nevaeh wished badly that Emery and Quill would have come and brought the kids, and that maybe even Maria and Landon would have come - maybe it would have helped Landon some, but alas.. no luck.

Nevaeh understood, though. She did. Emery had family things to take care of, to be there for, and Nevaeh had her own little family to fuss over and couldn't completely wave off. With Baby Noel experiencing MAGIC these days, Sunny being a curious little bug, and Ronan getting into everything, Nevaeh couldn't rightfully leave Bart home alone with the kids all the time, or leave them with her family.

Holding Bart's hand, fingers intertwined with his, Nevaeh almost sighed, sort of sad that she hadn't brought Ronan along with them. But he was young, very young, too young to remember this trip and too young to do anything except cry at the noise and stare at things. It was probably best she had left him with Bart's family. They hadn't gotten any time with Ronan on their own yet.

A bright smile on her lips, Nevaeh grinned at her husband and rubbed at his hand assuringly. He was fine. They were fine. The kids were fine. He was calm, right? Nevaeh leaned to look into his eyes and check, before straightening up.

"What should we do first?" Mama Nev asked, to any of her three companions.

Sunny bounced in front of her.

Her head tilted up to stare at the streamers and colorful decorations, Sunny straightened herself as she nearly collided with a complete stranger.

Eeeeek!

The two-year-old practically squealed, before running over to her big brother with a pouty little look on her face. "Up, Noeeey?" Sunny held out her arms, waiting to be picked up. She'd almost got ran over by someone's FEET!

While she waited, the small child adjusted her hat, which was lop-sided.
