But soon Petra noticed that it was getting harder to hold on, the hippogriff was bucking wildly, and more fiercely than ever before, and now Petra was concentration on holding on to this hippogriff. She was not going to let go. “Don’t let go... Don’t let go...” Petra’s hand started to get numb and then Petra felt as if she was flying and then had landed on a soft cushion of some sort. Petra opened her eyes and saw the hippogriff she was riding. Well at least I had fun Petra thought. She tried to look at the crowd but they were going in every direction. Petra started to get up and walk off the ring but as soon as she stood up her legs wobbled and she fell back down. Petra tried to stand up again and she fell back down. This time she just laid there waiting for the sky to stop spinning or for a staffer to help her out of the ring. But she will never forget this moment, the first time she had fun.
