Muggle record shops could wait for an hour or two while the young witch checked out some new music. She stayed in the back corner, of course, leaning against a tree and sprawling her legs out in front of her. Seats were for squares...and it was more likely she'd have to sit next to someone if she opted to sit down in one.

The band that had been playing when the gangly kid first decided to chill out here had left the stage. The next wasn't her taste. Matt took a giant bouncy ball, the type you'd get in muggle vending machines for 25p, out of her messenger bag in hopes of having some kind of entertainment while she waited for something better. She tossed it half-heartedly in the air about seven times before she grew bored, drew her arm back, and tossed the bright orange sphere aimlessly into the crowd of people standing closer to the stage.
Figuring that she might as well check out the music going on at this festival thing, Schuyler found herself walking closer to the area where the main stage was located. She sipped on her soda through the straw and kept her distance for now. She didn't want to dance and she didn't want to join in that crowd when it wasn't yet a band that she especially cared for. So, for now, she'd watch and wait, kill some time seeing what songs would be next.

She was passing her eyes over the crowd, slightly bored, when suddenly she saw a bright orange bouncy ball soaring through the air. Her blue eyes flickered back to where the ball had come from - a scrawny little boy sitting against a tree - then they returned to the crowd to see that it had hit some girl in the head, and now she was fussing about how someone had thrown something at her and messed up her hair.

Schuyler took one last, long, noisy sip of her soda before tossing it in the garbage can and picking up a nearby stick. La dee da. And, in one fluid motion, she threw the stick like a frisbee to make a direct hit right against the boy's arm. HAH. Serves him right, the little pipsqueak.
