Those world-weary eyes shifted towards the direction of the speaker. Oh so it was the guy who ran the whole thing. Give the Hippogriff a chance? Too quiet. Of course he could be nothing more than a harmless patron waiting for his turn to ride. Or maybe he's probably one of those--

"I'll take that ride." she said spinning quickly and addressed the Hippogriff Man. Dont look around; keep your eye on the contraption. "Do I win something if I stay on long enough hmm?"

Err, maybe she wasn't interested. She'd turned away and he went back to helping another rider when he heard her voice again addressing him. "Err, no. I don't believe so. But if you succeed on lasting longer than anyone else or til the end of the song, you get the chance to brag to everyone once you get to Hogwarts."

There was one thing Evan was certain of - this girl had given him a strange look. It looked almost like a spooked or startled look almost as if she had spotted something out of place. It could have been anything. It could have been him. He attempted a reassuring smile, but it somehow had an eerily creepy thing to it. Maybe it was the fact that the smile was comically too big.

Before he could even think of a thing to say to calm the girl in red’s nerves down the operator was speaking to him.

“Oh yeah that sounds quite fun” he nodded. “I’ll give it a whirl” he nodded. Bragging rights – he heard about that and almost chuckled. Evan was next in line it seemed which was nice. “how fast does this thing go?” He asked the operator.
