There was a small smile on her face when he wrapped his pinky around hers. The first time they had met they had made a pinky promise. She couldn't remember what the promise was but it was something silly. Thinking about the first time they met made Melanie smile grow a little more. The funny thing was that Landon didn't seem to know what a pinky promise was when they first met either. That made Melanie want to giggle at the thought.

But she didn't.

"Things... were just... I don't know," Melanie said, blushing as he took another step closer to her. "It was just... first thing that came to mind." Also known as what Melanie thought was the quickest way to not embarrass herself. Except it did embarrass her and made her feel horrible afterwards.
