Vashti grinned at all the kids lining up and walking about to choose a creature to ride. This was pretty cool, in her opinion. She was so used to the typical Muggle carousel and never really thought about what a magical one would be like. She still liked the Muggle ones, but these were extremely impressive and creative too. It made her half wish she hadn't volunteered to run it so that she could try it out, but maybe she could have a ride later after the festival closed and the children left. Surely then it would be perfectly okay to try it.

That wasn't what she needed to focus on now though. Now she needed to keep her attention on the excited children - like those two who were trying to ride on one dragon. She would've told one of them to choose another to ride - each animal was only supposed to carry one - but they were charmed in addition to having a seatbelt to ensure no one fell off, and she was more than confident the charm was powerful enough to keep more than one on there too. So no harm done for now. Time to focus on the others.

"Step right up and choose your creature!" she encouraged brightly. "They'll take off when you're ready. Make sure you remember your creature skills." Particularly for the hippogriff. Even though they weren't real, they still demanded respect.
