She not only had to be strong enough for the dangers of her work, but she had to be strong in every way in which she conducted herself at work. She was a leader now, not just of the YATI sort, so, there were expectations and shoes to fill. Strong shoes to fill. However, she didn't agree with where Victoria was leading the conversation. "On the contrary, it's the quiet ones that are sometimes the strongest. You don't need to be big and loud to be strong." Emily was hardly that. She could act it, but she preferred to observe in silence and strike unexpectedly.

Oh good, she took it as a joke. Or not? She'd stopped laughing. Emily listened, an eyebrow arched curiously. Asking for dirt on people was not normal newbie behaviour. "Definitely odd... I'm glad you told me." Now she could keep an eye and ear out in the office. Just... because.

And now for the good stuff.

Emily oggled the coffee selection, her gaze scanning over their labels. Honestly, she probably couldn't make up her mind, or more to the point she'd make up her mind to have every single one. Was that possible? Combine it all into one EPIC coffee? ... No. Well yes, but no. "Hazelnut sounds good, double shot of course, one sugar," she declared, grabbing herself one of the cuppy things.
Victoria looked at the woman in aww.. She really was fascinated by the strength this one had to have. "Well all I know is I'm better behind a desk working with quidditch teams and mascots. I could never do any of that physical work." It just sounded to hard, but it would be so much training. As much as Vic liked being fit and in motion, but to need to rough someone up if need me, no thanks she would stick to the bludgers. "That's so interesting." She chuckled a bit, "Well I don't think this quiet one could handle any of that." nope she knew her limits and an eleven year old beating her up accidentally was rough enough.

"I feel bad like I'm ratting him out, but it just struck me as odd. I guess I don't concern myself over the gossip around the Ministry and don't understand why anyone really would want to." Who cared who was dating who, or who was doing what. Just do your own job and mind your own business. That's how she felt anyway.

Victoria watched as Emily couldn't decide, b]"Well I love coffee breaks so come interrupt my work anytime if you want to try out some new ones." [/b] She knew Emily could do it on her own, but why not have a coffee buddy while at it, right. Grabbing her own cup, Victoria decided to go with the Hazelnut as well. Pulling out the sugar she pushed it towards Emily so she could get hers. "Do they have a coffee cart at your level as well?" She hadn't been to many of the others levels so she truly wasn't sure.
