Landon Hughes walked into WWW and walked over to the toy center. He was supposed to meet Melanie here today and he was nervous. It was strange because he had never been this nervous in his life really. He swung the red bag in his hands back and forth which held a teddy bear and a teddy bear sweater he got for Melanie. Why? Well he hoped it might help the situation better. Heh. And maybe it would get her to consider that they could be more than friends. Maybe. If not, today would just be a failure.

He fixed the beanie on top of his head and took off his sunglasses, putting them on his shirt instead. He went over the things that were circling around inside his head and tried to think of possible answers or questions Melanie might say.

But where could she be?
