When they first met. Lewis' mind immediately went back to their meeting at the platform in his first year at Hogwarts. Charles had really disliked him then. For no apparent reason. Had he known? Had he known the moment he'd met him that Lewis would end up spending his life together with Kurumi? Had he really guessed? Or had he just been hostile towards him for no apparent reason? He'd have to ask him sometime.
Lewis didn't say anything right away instead he went to sit down on the blanket opposite of her. "Yes...." He replied slowly, his eyes briefly falling on the peony in her hands. "Your father didn't really...like me much back then." At that he glanced back up at her, a small smile playing around his lips. Something about the fact that she had chosen this moment to think about seemed funny to him. Probably because Charles had been anything but hostile to him lately.
Though Kurumi's graduation hadn't exactly been easy regarding Charles.
If Kurumi hadn't moved, he would have so when she finally scooted next to him, Lewis immediately wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close. How had he thought that sitting opposite of her without being able to touch her was a good idea? Because it wasn't. Good thing Kurumi seemed to agree with him. He leaned down to kiss the top of her head right before she lifted her head to look back up at him. Yes, why were they out here again? Right now all he could think about was her and how he just wanted to stay like this forever.
...forever. Right. That was it. Shaking his head a little to himself as if to clear his mind, he tried to focus again. "I..." Lewis stopped short however when Kurumi went on talking. Why was it that he hadn't thought all the possible scenarios through? Like that Kurumi would actually say things too. "I...that's not..." His eyes flicked over to the telescope for a second. Wait, was THAT why she was so excited? "We should-" Okay, he should probably finish a sentence for once. Maybe a couple of deep breaths would help.
