Ameliah pouted at both the swat (reminding her vaguely of the time when she turned her friend into a badger) and the rejection of the nickname. Well, at the swat, at least. Ameliah was used to Tay's grimaces at her
genius nickname for her.
"Well, I'll stop it eventually, promise. But for now, you shall be PoTayto. Until I'm mature enough to stop, at least," she added with a shrug.
