Okay, this had not been...this wasn't...this really wasn't part of the plan. And there were too many things not going according to plan now. Though, it didn't REALLY matter. At least that's what he kept telling himself. Everything would be fine. With them everything always worked out. Somehow. Yes. Definitely.
...and then all of a sudden there was cake on the floor.
Lewis didn't even have time to open is mouth in protest when Kurumi suddenly dropped the delicious looking cake. Because he had a seemingly relieved Kurumi pressed against his chest with her arms wrapped around him. Seriously, he had NOT gotten some kind of memo. What was happening today? This was all very confusing. And it was NOT a good day for confusing. Not when he had plans.
Automatically pulling her closer still, he relaxed somewhat, seeing as this was definitely a positive reaction from her. Even though he STILL didn't know what had upset her in the first place. That is until she looked back at him and asked a question that seemed to be so out of the blue it took him surprise. "Y-yes. Of course we are." Lewis replied with his head slightly tilted to the side. "...more than alright really." He added, lowering his voice a little, a tentative smile playing around his lips.
