Harrison watched as Harley trailed off, looking a little confused and annoyed as the words seemed to escape him. He understood what Harland had said, though, so nodded as he listeened. As Harley squeezed back his hand back, he felt a smile flood his face without warning. Stomach feeling a little strange, his smile widened. “That’s dangerous... Why are they here?”
He chuckled with relief and nodded. “You are very awesome, I can’t really stress that enough. And you did seem rather tall, you know, for a man pretending to be a duck,” he said seriously.
He laughed out loud. “I do feel good around you. Happy and comfortable. And given how crazy you are, I wouldn’t have put biting past you,” he teased, “but the reassurance is nice.”
"I would just find that tiring..." He shrugged, nodding.
"Never fear, you won't have to be sad around me." He winked, before mock shuddering.
"Ew, people? I would hate to get interested in people!" He teased.
"And you may meet him, don't worry."
Harland chuckled as he watched Harrison's features change, a large smile gracing his features now, making him feel happy inside. He had caused that!
"I don't know... But I'm rather fond of my soul. I... Their hands... Their /mouths/..." He trailed off, closing his eyes tightly, only bringing the memories back. Seriously, what were they doing there? Did they like scaring people?
"Of course, you don't even need to tell me, I understand completely. You're pretty awesome yourself, kid." He chuckled, poking him in the chest with his free hand.
"And you seem pretty short, for a man pretending not to be cute." He retorted, smirking.
"I'm really glad! I feel... Surprisingly comfortable myself. I'm glad that I tried to steal bread off of you." He smiled, before snickering.
"You're a very mean person, Harrison- I don't know your last name! Spill!"
