Except.. hmm. After a moment of happy butterscotch savoring, Cat just didn't feel AS happy as she had. She wasn't necessarily upset, but she felt noticeably different. She blinked at West and cradled her bowl of ice cream a little bit mournfully. "That butterscotch was yummy." She said with a tiny wibble.
Was she done? Cat shrugged in reply. She guessed she was done. It wasn't like ice cream was THAT great anyway. She'd rather be eating a cupcake. "I guess so." Sure. She was done. She dipped her finger in the chocolate syrup because she felt like maybe chocolate would be better than butterscotch. Chocolate was ALWAYS a good thing, right?
Now it was Alice's turn to Alicehandle Cat, okay? She'd go anywhere.

He looked at Cat and smiled at her.
"Yeah? I don't know if its any good, I didn't try it." West lied outright, not that there was any sign of the lie in his voice or his expression. He was getting much much better at lying. Y'know, on account of being a Slytherin. Weirdly though he was usually less inclined to do it too, it was just that this was a kind of emergency. And she looked a little... effected by the stuff. He reached out and gave her a quick little side hug squeeze thing. "You can have more if you want."
As for Alice.... she was gonna be difficult huh. He eyed his girlfriend again.
"You should try my syrup. And I'll try yours. You know, for house points." He'd try that first.
"But in the kitchen, enchanted ladles won't dump creepy syrup on my ice cream, see?" He had picked up on those fishy ingredients, hadn't he?
"I'm good. I'm not eating any. Mo thinks there's something wrong with it, too." So she was right, because Cactus was smart, and he thought it was suspicious as well. Made perfect sense.
"Thanks, though. Cat? Ice cream now?"
She waved at West, then proceeded to grab Cat's hand and begin tugging her away. Alicehandling now.
