Except.. hmm. After a moment of happy butterscotch savoring, Cat just didn't feel AS happy as she had. She wasn't necessarily upset, but she felt noticeably different. Was she done? Cat shrugged in reply. She guessed she was done. It wasn't like ice cream was THAT great anyway. She'd rather be eating a cupcake. "I guess so." Sure. She was done. She dipped her finger in the chocolate syrup because she felt like maybe chocolate would be better than butterscotch. Chocolate was ALWAYS a good thing, right?
Now it was Alice's turn to Alicehandle Cat, okay? She'd go anywhere.
"Its the same ice cream, Alice." West said, eyeing her a bit and yeah there was a bit of concern and suspicion in his expression. Because those grins that she was sporting, they weren't just the usual HIM induced grins. Thems were ice cream infected grins, they were.
He looked at Cat and smiled at her.
"Yeah? I don't know if its any good, I didn't try it." West lied outright, not that there was any sign of the lie in his voice or his expression. He was getting much much better at lying. Y'know, on account of being a Slytherin. Weirdly though he was usually less inclined to do it too, it was just that this was a kind of emergency. And she looked a little... effected by the stuff. He reached out and gave her a quick little side hug squeeze thing.
"You can have more if you want."
As for Alice.... she was gonna be difficult huh. He eyed his girlfriend again.
"You should try my syrup. And I'll try yours. You know, for house points." He'd try that first.
