Laughing.. she was laughing hard at Forrest... "Yes they have a daddy, his name is Daichi... He's a seventh year.. Oh no.. what are they going to do without their duck daddy next term. Maybe he will take them all home with him, but then there won't be any left for us." She rolled with laughter more. She didn't even know why that was so funny. "Si... oh Si.. where are you.. Don't you want ice cream." Seriously duck.. Come get your ice cream.
She jumped to turn fully facing him. "A soccer match? Sure I love to watch sports." Of course that sounded fun. She wondered if Ethan would like to go as well. Then she gasped, "I need to teach you quidditch so than you will know all about it. Then you will love the game. It's a great game. It's so fun and exciting. It's FABULOUS!!" He just needed to know more about it was all.
Minerva gave him a huge smile, "Well I really hope you think of me as one of those friends." because all her badgers should think of her as a friend. She loved her friends. Oh he wanted her to try.. Alright she would.. Pulling out her bag she looked around in it.. "Oh no... " It wasn't in her bag.. Where could it be. She had dropped things out of her bag in Herbology and again in a corridor. Could it still be there. "My Ipod's missing..I guess I can't do the spell." Well that was sad, but she just kept laughing and had more ice cream.
Forrest grinned then and reached forward for MORE. Minerva was so kind for sharing it with him! He owed her one... how could he pay her back? He took a spoon from the ice-cream and his grin got wider. Why worry for anything? He would just give her ice-cream. It was the best thing ever invented!
And Forrest was laughing BACK at her. He remembered vaguely that Daichi was the guy that had a good laugh over him just at the beginning of the term, and that he should actually dislike the boy and all but LALALA, who cared? He didn't know how the boy became a duck daddy, but it seemed irrelevant too.
"He can't take them with him though. Hogwarts can't lose more." Reality kick in. Did Daichi eat ice-cream too?
...he was distracted though and just looked around himself to spot the duck.
"No Minerva maybe it's bad for them." Besides, he wanted the ice-cream for themSELVES, see?
Oh football. He grinned foolishly again.
"The season starts in August. You definitely have to see a match in August." Nooooood. He even got more serious, because football was serious business.
"Yeah I know the rules and all. I jus' need to see more matches." He paused to think whether there would be more matches or not. He wasn't sure. He wasn't sure who won Quidditch Cup either. Hmm...
"But you play well." Y'know, he'd watched HER.
Griiiin.
He got another spoon and TEARS of ALL THE GOOD FEELINGS filled his eyes. She wanted to be his friend! No, she considered
him as a friend! This was great! He wasn't socially awkward or something after all! Hufflepuff's best student wanted to be his friend. She was older than him too! Hogwarts was indeed full of wonders!
"Of course!" And who cared about stupid iPods and spells when she was his FRIEND and they had ice-cream? Disappointment tried to invade his heart but really, he was far too happy to care about small details now. She would just try it later.
"'S fine. Let's eat ice-cream." Hehehe.
