The dementors were closer now. So close to the sweetest kiss they had ever tasted. The one that had been about to perform the kiss on the one student (iBeJenn) suddenly flew backwards when another (AlwaysSnapesGirl) hurtled herself at the other. The one that had been blocking the door did not follow, but instead curled its ugly fingers to move open the door to lead back into the corridor. It turned its caped head towards its companions, as if saying something, and then swiftly glided out of the Gryffindor common room.

The remaining dementors each took one last long suck on the students before they unwillingly left the room as well.
