If Jake was surprised at the turnstiles requesting a payment, it didn't show on his face. It had been a while since he'd last been at this school, and times changed. He gave slotted in the required 5 galleons and entered the stands.

Seeing the pitch brought back a whole TON of memories and he kind of froze for a moment as he stared at it. Jake hadn't seen a quidditch game since his seventh year, and that had obviously been on this very pitch. Still, the quidditch memories were the BEST memories, and it was with a small smile that he went looking for a decent seat in the almost empty stands. It seemed he was early, but that was fine. He could keep an eye out for any familiar faces as they arrived.

Jake was wearing his old school tie, except it was wrapped around his wrist. Nothing would persuade him to wear it properly again, no matter how fond of the thing he was. No matter how fond of his old HOUSE he was. Because he was obviously here because it was a Hufflepuff game, and he was showing his support.

Wondering vaguely who he might run into, or even if he might catch sight of his little brother, Dale, Jake finally took a seat right where he used to always sit. Just for nostalgia's sake, you know? It was why he was here in the first place after all. Now all he had to do was wait, and to fill the time he started to wonder whether there were any old professor's he might run into. The thought alone made him smile freely.
