.... more stuff about ice cream? West frowned a little. Syrup....?
He glanced around his classmates and then at the professor as it dawned on him. A flavour enhancer? No way. This was an antidote for all the crazy wasn't it? He turned a little and looked over at Dylan briefly. They'd had words a bit about crazy classmates and all the ice cream everywhere. West wasn't eating any of it though, because Quidditch reasons.
.... maybe he should thank his captain for that?
West didn't speak up about the fact that he hadn't eaten any of the ice cream this term, or say his thoughts about it being an antidote out loud, because then what if the crazy people caught on and refused to use the syrup or something? West trusted Lafay completely. There was no way his head of house would set them wrong, so he just stayed silent and went ahead and followed instructions.
Butterscotch for him. He got it and filled his cauldron halfway, then watched the professor closely, waiting for further enlightenment.
