Uh oh....Kace looked like he touched a nerve. He never meant to bring up a bad subject for her. He felt awkward. "Look Alexa....i am sorry... i misunderstood. It won't happen again. Trust me. And i am sorry to hear about your real mother." he said to her. He wanted to show her he cared. He probably shouldn't have assumed. Everyone's family history was different. He should have known thing. But he made a mistake. He learned from it.

He respected she wanted to keep the ice cream for herself. He know he would too if he talked about a subject he didn't like. To get her mind off of it he asked her, "Do you wanna go explore other parts outside the castle?" he asked curiously.
