So their original idea of the kitchen might have been slightly off... now they could tell just how broke the school was from what they could see around them. In fact, by now Kahlan had basically forgotten about how hungry she was when she noticed there were only 3 house elves.

3 house elves????!!!

How in Merlin's beard had they expected those 3 house elves to manage to take care of the entire school???

No wonder the food was terrible.

Not that she'd ever admit it to the house elves.

"Um yeah" she told him, before walking up to one of the house elves. "Um... excuse me? Um... is there anything here we could eat?" she asked.
