After a few seconds--it was a short passage, yay--he found himself staring at the kitchens and it elicited a sharp gasp of wonder from him. "It's kitchens really Kahlan!" he yelled into the passage with all his might and stepped out of the passage to let her come too.

Kitchens. He kept grinning like a fool. Kitchens. He couldn't believe it. KITCHENS!

Where to start?

After he bolted towards the kitchen, Kahlan almost made a move to follow him into the kitchens before he told her to wait outside. First she didn't really understand why, but she listened to him anyway, waiting for the all clear. Finally getting the all clear, she also dashed down the small corridor, stopping right before she would've run straight into Forrest.

"Wow" she finally managed as she looked around the kitchen. They had finally managed to get to the one thing that had been their goal the entire time, they were finally going to eat.

Now there was just one more problem to solve.

"So what are we going to eat?" she finally asked, looking around the kitchen.
