.......
Jory looked up as Ronnie came sprinting back into the Room. "You know if you wanna go running we could do it out at the Lake,'' he said, standing up and leading her to the couch. His present! And it was Valentine's day? He had totally forgotten! "Happy valentine's day, Rons. I had forgotten about it.'' He never remembered the day anyway. Jory turned his attention to his presents. A scrapbook! Aww! Look at all the pictures of them. He smiled broadly as he went through the book. And the cookies! "Rons, these are so cool!'' He examined the badger cookies. "I don't wanna eat them.'' They were so...badgery. Jory gasped when he saw the watch with the Hallows. He liked it instantly. "Thank you very much, Rons'' he said as he slipped on the watch. The Puffer wrapped Ronnie in a hug once more.
She laughed.
"Yeah, true. But I wanted to get it to you as soon as possible!" she told him as they both sat back down. She giggled as he said he had forgotten about Valentines Day. No biggie to her! She just wanted to see him open her present. Beaming at all his reactions, she hugged him back.
"You're welcome! I'm really glad you like them." she said, squeezing him tight.
"Thanks, by the way," she suddenly said as she leaned back into the cozy couch.
"For being there for me. It means a lot. You've made me feel loads better." she said quietly, looking at him and smiling. He really had helped her feel better, which was a surprise because today, Ronnie thought she'd be depressed. For like, the rest of her life. Of course, she was sad but..being around Jory lifted her spirits a lot and helped her forget all about her sadness.
