The blonde furrowed her brow immediately and listened as Mika recounted what happened between her and Kaiden over break. Her green eyes widened slightly at the mention of a kiss, surprised Kaiden had actually gone that far. She knew he had feelings for Mika but she hadn't expected him to just kiss her like that. She supposed that was as good a way as any to let someone know you liked them...or their lips, at least but still...

When the Ravenclaw had finished, Ella took a minute to sort out what she wanted to say. Feelings between friends were complicated, especially when they weren't reciprocated and she tried to remember what Rora had told her about Theo when things had happened. Mostly she had been told to be honest because it was better in the long run.

"So..." She started after a while. "Kaiden kissed you, then you told him you do, or might, have feelings for Mo, and then you tried to kiss Kaiden back?" That last bit was the part Ella didn't quite understand. She didn't understand it so much that she casually stress-ate a gummy worm while she tried to work it out in her head.

"I know you're confused, Mika, but you need to make a choice." Frown. "Because if you told Kaiden you might like Mo and then kissed him, well you're sort of sending mixed signals, yeah?" And mixed signals were enough to drive anyone to tears.

Mixed signals – yeah she had given those of course…but she hadn’t meant to and she felt bad. She sighed and nodded as she scooped and dropped Oreo ice cream into both of the bowls. She also knew that she well…she felt bad.

“I get that I do, I as confused, heck I’m always confused with boys” she admitted sheepishly and bit her lip. ”Well the thing is I told him that last term I didn’t tell him about my feelings because they weren’t sorted out at all” which was the truth. She was much more comfortable telling Ella about them than Kaiden.

If he had asked she would have said something about really liking strawberries and being sad she couldn’t eat them on account of them sometimes making it impossible for her to breathe. ”And I don’t mean to give mixed signals – but I guess…I’m all mixed signals right now…I mean, I feel right horrid about it and everything” she admitted. ”that and especially since he was so nice after everything even helped me find a healing potion cause not ten minutes later I broke my ankle…but that’s besides the point” she bit her lip.

”Yeah I guess you are right…then I probably should talk to both of them separately and find out about things – because…I have a feeling Kaiden might have been, well…a bit upset about the fact that you know Mo’s a housemate and all.” and that meant they spent time together, right…that didn’t happen as much as people would think.

"oh...but after all of that I apologized for the stuff before hand and well, things were weird." she muttered, "pad...he stuck a pad to my face because I knocked a cupboard door into it" she made a disgusted face as she finished adding hot fudge sauce to her ice cream and the whipped cream. There it was looking like a regular sundae now. "and...I just...i didn't mean to break him I promise" she nodded as she took her spoon and just took a bit of the super cold ice cream.

YUMMY...and cold, so cold.
