Mika bit her lip when she heard the door opened and smiled to Ella. Mika was glad to hear Ella’s praise about the ice cream things looking awesome. Well they were awesome weren’t they and girl talk deserved good ice cream.
“Hey,” she smiled over to Ella, sure it wasn’t as bubbly of a smile as she would have given back in her naïve-stage (the weeks before holidays). ”Aw thanks, yeah I collected things to make the ice cream even more awesome” she smiled as she picked up a gummy worm and chomped into it.
”What kind of ice cream?” she asked Ella with a quick smile. And then asking what was up – she bit her lip and thought about delving right into it. ”I think I broke your chaser – I’m sorry…I, well, Kaiden kind of came over to my house for a few days before heading back to school at the end of holidays and well…he kissed me” she bit her lip. And glanced down at the empty bowl in front of her.
”I think I broke him though – he got all…hurt looking and well, I don’t think the things I said helped him at all.” she bit her lip and glanced over to Ella, her lip wibbling as she did so. ”I told him about the Mo thing…me possibly liking – I think I said liked, or like I’m not sure but now he knows and we haven’t really talked since all that much” Mika sighed and bit her lip. "So...you want chocolate, vanilla, or...and um, I did try and kiss him but he pushed passed me and I think he was crying" she muttered the last bit and just sighed.
Ella watched Mika curiously as the blonde greeted her, noting that her smile didn't quite reach her eyes. This meant something was wrong, yeah? She figured she'd find out what it was when Mika was ready to spill and so she focused on other important things instead. Gummy worm important things. MMM!
"I completely approve of this spread." GRIN. Not that her approval was needed or anything.

The blonde furrowed her brow immediately and listened as Mika recounted what happened between her and Kaiden over break. Her green eyes widened slightly at the mention of a kiss, surprised Kaiden had actually gone that far. She knew he had feelings for Mika but she hadn't expected him to just kiss her like that. She
supposed that was as good a way as any to let someone know you liked them...or their lips, at least but still...
When the Ravenclaw had finished, Ella took a minute to sort out what she wanted to say. Feelings between friends were complicated, especially when they weren't reciprocated and she tried to remember what Rora had told her about Theo when
things had happened. Mostly she had been told to be honest because it was better in the long run.
"So..." She started after a while.
"Kaiden kissed you, then you told him you do, or might, have feelings for Mo, and then you tried to kiss Kaiden back?" That last bit was the part Ella didn't quite understand. She didn't understand it so much that she casually stress-ate a gummy worm while she tried to work it out in her head.
"I know you're confused, Mika, but you need to make a choice." Frown.
"Because if you told Kaiden you might like Mo and then kissed him, well you're sort of sending mixed signals, yeah?" And mixed signals were enough to drive anyone to tears.
