You could give me another lesson," he grinned.
Ethan began rolling the pin over the dough to flatten it out. This was harder than he thought.. but it was getting there. "Most likely the dorms.. oh that reminds me, I need to get my application out soon." He looked up from the dough. "Magical..?" He glanced back to the stove. "But I used Incendio.." He turned back to her. "I don't really know any cooking charms, do you?" That might make things a bit easier.
Ethan tilted his head and assessed the rolled out dough. He wouldn't exactly call the pieces circular, but he supposed they would do. Bringing over the meat mixture, he began spooning it onto the dough, then he looked up at Minerva with a grin. "I still give you butterflies?" He didn't know why, but he really liked hearing that from her. It was nice to know that even if they had been together for some time, that things could still be exciting between them. He remembered the day two years ago and how the mood had changed so quickly.. He looked up at her with a smirk. "Maybe I will try.. you're awfully cute when you're nervous, you know.." he said slowly walking closer to her again.
Minerva laughed a bit,
"Oh yes you do know how to make three things and I think your very good at each of them, but I just figured if you want a few more things we could do another lesson." She so enjoyed their time together especially when they were teaching each other knew things.
"Do you want to learn something else from the German cook book or one of my specialties?" She was getting better at his foods, but she had many she knew right from memory she could teach him as well.
"When does the application need to be in? Do you have it done.." Gulp, nope.. nope she was to happy to feel that emotion coming up in her stomach.. Moving right along.. She thought about maybe sneaking some ice cream for comfort purposes, but tried to restrain herself not wanting to offend before dinner. Minerva shook her head at the next question,
"I mean I've heard of them, but never used them. I have a book either in my bag or in my room that has them in there. I could get it to you if you want." She really didn't see herself using it at all. This was one of her favorite ways to feel close to her mom and she wasn't giving that up.
She watched as he rolled the dough he was doing great, but she knew he would. He was better at this than he gave himself credit. She than smiled,
"Yes you still do.. " She grinned at him knowing he still made her nervous at times, not the crazy can't focus and look like a nut job ones, but the stop and loose thought process, because he's adorable and I don't want to look stupid in front of him ones. She felt her cheeks turn a bit as he spoke his next words,
"Yes.. I think I remember you saying something like that a few years ago." Brushing her hair behind her ear she had shifted her eyes down until she felt someone close to her. Looking up she smiled and chuckled a bit.. Stop that heart.. why was it racing like that, seriously he was that close to her many times before. What was it about this Kitchen...
