Minerva found a seat when he told her he wanted to do it on his own. Smiling she was so happy to be here with him and was excited to watch him cooking. "Well you seem to be doing well. Plus you did alright the last time you tried. I think we need to work on something else soon. I don't want you only knowing one thing." That made her think of something that she tried not to think about to often because it never her made her happy, but at the moment nothing seemed to making her to sad. "So next year at Uni, where will you live? Is this why your wanting to learn more cooking? You know I cook mostly muggle ways, you can use magic to do this stuff." She fidgeted in her seat a bit not able to sit still when he came very close to her. A grin formed on her face when she knew he knew what she was talking about. "Well I hope I do at least." and he was so close she thought he might kiss her, but then he was back to cooking. "Oh I don't know about that. You still give me plenty of butterflies at times." She chuckled "but nervous to the point that I giggle and can't think straight, no I don't think you do that anymore, but you can try if you'd like." She gave him a playful smirk.
Okay.. so he was supposed to roll out the dough. Ethan looked around, opening a few drawers, in search of a rolling pin. Finding one, he moved back over to the dough and gave Minerva a little smile.
"Well, actually I know two things.." Come on.. she had his amazing BLTs before..
"Or three, if you count breakfast.. but sure, I could stand to learn some more. You could give me another lesson," he grinned.
Ethan began rolling the pin over the dough to flatten it out. This was harder than he thought.. but it was getting there.
"Most likely the dorms.. oh that reminds me, I need to get my application out soon." He looked up from the dough.
"Magical..?" He glanced back to the stove.
"But I used Incendio.." He turned back to her.
"I don't really know any cooking charms, do you?" That might make things a bit easier.
Ethan tilted his head and assessed the rolled out dough. He wouldn't exactly call the pieces circular, but he supposed they would do. Bringing over the meat mixture, he began spooning it onto the dough, then he looked up at Minerva with a grin.
"I still give you butterflies?" He didn't know why, but he really liked hearing that from her. It was nice to know that even if they had been together for some time, that things could still be exciting between them. He remembered the day two years ago and how the mood had changed so quickly.. He looked up at her with a smirk.
"Maybe I will try.. you're awfully cute when you're nervous, you know.." he said slowly walking closer to her again.
