To put emphasis on his hair, Els ruffled it with her fingers and laughed. It was so long for a boy, but she didn't mind. When she was bored and they were together, she just played with it, and especially when camping over the summer, she'd put ribbons in it while he was sleeping. Which of course, he hadn't appreciated, but what the hey.

"We were playing. I just didn't tell you." Shouldn't he have expected that by now? Elodie hooked her foot into the back of the bench and climbed over, sitting herself in Coul's lap.

"Its warmer if I sit here." It wasn't because she preferred sitting here or anything.
