Winter.
It was freezing and
Ella could see her breath as she walked towards the lake, arms wrapped around herself for warmth. She'd much rather be sitting by the cozy fire but the need for fresh air far outweighed the need for heat.
Approaching the water's edge, the blonde looked out across the water and smiled. Hogwarts was even more magical in the winter time. It was quieter too. Much quieter. The sixteen year old let the silence wash over her as she let her green eyes wander.
This was nice.
