Which was't a great card, even he knew that. And what if this hinted for things in the future? Like... what if... they had to fight things in the maze?
...
Alec shook his head before smiling a little at the others. ... Dagaz? "Is that the rune that's... what rune is that?" he asked, turning his attention from Ells to Jory. Which, by the way, was very hard to do. Would this really help them learn the runic alphabet off by heart?
... Then Minnie spoke up and Alec turned his attention towards her. Really, how did people know these things? "Erm... well... it pops up as a certain number on the deck. We just have to... figure out the number and connect it to that number on the Futhark runes. I guess?" Unless she already knew that. His eyes flickered over towards the wooden plaque and he frowned slightly. "It doesn't sound like a great card. Isn't it really unlucky?" Because death, you know. And that was all he knew about that card so... dude was stumped.
Just as she was about to talk Jory said about a rune. She wasn't sure if he was right, but he probably was. After she had talked about the death card, Alec spoke up. She chuckled,
"Well I'm pretty sure it's 13. You've heard of it being an unlucky number, well I'm pretty sure it's because it is on the death card."
So did that mean all they had to do was figure out which rune was 13.
"Anyone know what rune is in that thirteen spot?" Again were they allowed to use a book for this..
"Think we can use our text to help us or is that off limit?"
