After several minutes of simmering, Mo offered an empty phial to Lex. "You fill one, I'll fill one, we'll try it. If it seems to work, we'll turn it in to the professor. If not... we'll go to the infirmary. Deal?" This was SUCH a bad idea.
Still. Mo quaffed the first phial he filled in one swallow, gagging a bit over the texture as he did so. Lex's turn.
Had it? Hm. Lex had been busy cleaning up the area a bit while they waited for the mixture to simmer so she didn't notice the colour change but she was grateful for it. The thought of swallowing something that resembled cement didn't appeal to her much. Would have been better in blue but whatever.
She took the phial and filled it just after he did.
"Sounds like a plan!" She raised her phial.
"Here's to hoping she feels sorry for us and gives us candy if we really do end up having to see her." Lex had a feeling these wouldn't taste all that great, candy would definitely be helpful--oh, see that? Mo gagging right there, this stuff wouldn't go down easy.
She took a swig of the stuff then another, just as she thought, nothing good.
"Ugh, we should add sugar next time, improve the taste. How will we even know if this works? Do I wait for you to pass out or something to assume we didn't just drink our own deaths...?"
