Well Garrick just didn't like the idea of upsetting her. Not one bit. It kind of left a bad taste in his mouth. His pouty mouth fell into something of a frown but he kept mum on the subject matter. Yep.

Turning his head to look at Lottie his frowned deepened. "And that's an excuse? She should be able to treat people poorly because of that?" And NOT APOLOGIZE? No. It was unacceptable. Besides, he didn't believe that she didn't realize. He fully believed she just didn't care. Well I don't believe that for one second. Benjy was very adamant in asking if I was going to the match... because she was going and it would have made things awkward were I there. That doesn't sound like someone who has gotten over anything. And well I don't think she has anything to get over to begin with. And well... Yeah. That was precisely what he thought about ALLL of that but knew that would cause big issues if started to discuss her friend. Sighs.

Yeah he could try. The smallest hint of a smile touched his lips. Not a full watt Ogden smile, but it was something. And then more discussion of his being able to speak freely with her on family stuff. He wouldn't. He couldn't. End of discussion, but it was nice of her to offer.
