And he was having a lot of those at the moment. He was dealing with way more stuff than she was. Truth be told, she wasn't dealing with anything, so she began to understand why he was asking her. She just...assumed..., "It confuses me because I didn't know what was going on," or, not exactly, she knew he didn't get along with Lex and viceversa, but, "I mean, how it was affecting you, actually." THAT was what she didn't know. Or hadn't, until now.

Seriously? "You. To spend time with you, to be with you, to talk to you." Words were definitely necessary in this case. Lottie looked down, she'd been extremely selfish, "I just...," she was quite aware of their friends situation, because she was almost certain that Benjy didn't like her, but she was fine with overlooking that fact... and Garrick wasn't fine with doing that with Lex? No. "I want us to be together, but...if us being together actually hurts us...then...," her eyes landed on him.

Did she need to finish that sentence? She could, but she didn't want to. It was simple, they shouldn't be together, yeah? Avoid anyone from any hurt. "I don't want to hurt you." But it seems that she was. Indirectly, at least.

This was so unfair.
