Er, what? What did that have to do with anything? She had no idea where this was coming from. Even more so that she was feeling terrible about it, because she was making Garrick hate something and that wasn't right. It was her fault, wasn't it? Though, she didn't know exactly how.

Granted, Lottie breathed in and out before she finally turned her head towards him. Confusion was written all over her face now. "What?" her tone was definitely softer than she'd intended, "I don't--what are you talking about?" seriously, though, "I'm sorry that you feel that way...," her head shook lightly from one side to the other as she tried to make sense of this, "...I definitely don't mean to, Garrick." She was actually keeping no secrets from Lex, if that was the friend he was referring to. She's her best friend, after all, and one of the few who know Lottie pretty well.

They didn't have to speak in order to understand each other. That's how well Lex knew Lottie, and viceversa. ~~ALTHOUGH, words were necessary for a few things. Important things.~~
