Not to mention Erin who was a legend of her own. Airey had been wanting to go to her office to ask for a favor since he had certain memorabilia that he wouldn't mind getting signatures on, but he was pretty sure that that would be rather unprofessional. Although, recently, he was feeling as though keeping up the appearance of professionalism was sort of draining. It took away from the bigger and better joys in life. Maybe he would just go ask her.

Attention back on the inquisitive Hufflepuff, he scratched his pretend beard for a moment before answering. "I follow all the teams really, but always had a soft spot for Manchester United and Newcastle." Mostly because the name Newcastle was sort of cute and made him wonder if there were a bunch of new castles in the region.

He was by no means a football fan in the same light that he was a quidditch fan, but he did enjoy the sport.

All football related questions he would leave to the boy. He seemed to feel more comfortable when talking about the sport, so best to give that confidence to him - ignoring the fact that he did not know all the names anyway.

He didn't see, actually, but he wouldn't get that.

Unless, he could read minds. He had to ask about that later too, whether it was possible.

Attention back on Kahlan. He'd work on the Professor later and convert him to a Tottenham fanatic.

"There are twenty teams in the top league, actually, and every year three teams are relegated to lower league and likewise three teams are promoted, so it changes really. But there are certain teams that have the strength to be permanent in top league." His face shone PROUDLY as he grinned.

"Tottenham is one of them." Naturally. He supported no loser team.

Carter Phillips? Kahlan had to think for a few moments before she finally managed to remember who he was which was quite an embarrassing thing for her. "That's really cool" she beamed, happy that she had remembered, and also finding it interesting that there was another student who had a professionally quidditch playing older brother around...

She'd have to eventually track that girl down.

That would definitely be interesting!

Trying to get her mind around how football worked she found herself even more confused. 20 teams? Teams rotating up and down even though some stayed? Well, at least now she knew the name of one of the 'permanent' teams, or whatever they were called.

"Makes Quidditch seem a lot easier" the blonde mused, thinking over how it worked. "In the British and Irish quidditch league there's 13 teams... the Montrose Magpies have probably won the most league cups but the Ballycastle Bats and Puddlemere United have also won quite a lot, I'd say those three are the top teams" she beamed, proud to support them and proud that her brother was in one of the reserve teams.

He still should've been playing for the Ballycastle Bats in her opinion but considering she supported both teams she figured it didn't matter that much!
