The Professor clicked into the room in a light lime suit and with matching heels. She had her usual smile on her face and a little jump in her step. To say she was always happy was an understatement. She smiled as she walked through the chairs and then when she made it to the front of the room. She paused and grabbed a Muggle Dr. Pepper before going to her usual spot at the front of the room near the board and under the projections screen. With a snap of her fingers the projection stopped and she cleared her throat a little bit before beginning.

"Welcome to Muggle Studies One! I'm excited to see so many returning faces and so many new faces!" she said making eye contact with each student in the room, "First thing, since this is Muggle Studies, all magic is discouraged. I will occasionally have things charmed or use magic to present different aspects of a lesson but students are encouraged to live in a Magic Free Zone while in the Muggle Studies classroom." she said with a little nod up and down, "Also, please remember that when I'm talking or when another student is talking that all conversations should be kept to a minimum." she said sweetly to the class.

The she took a little step towards the board and flipped it over so the other side showed. Then she wrote in her curly handwriting as she read out loud, "Muggle Money-Currency from around the World" Once she had it written and decorated, she turned back to the class, "This term we will focus on Muggle Money and we'll start with a lesson on the different currencies around the world that the Muggle societies use." she said and with a snap of her fingers black sheets of paper flew to each of the desks attached to the chairs followed by Muggle markers, rolls of tape, and colored pencils. Then with a twist of her wrist the projection began again above her head.

"Let's get things started...shall we?...." she asked really to no one, "I asked that you bring a photo of yourself facing forward..." she paused and looked around to ensure everyone had brought one, "Watch the presentation above and choose one bill design that you like the best. Using this design as inspiration and your picture, create your own bill with your picture on it. Feel free to be as creative as you would like" she said excitedly. "I'll give you a few minutes to work on this. Once you have yours designed, please use the Muggle tape to tape it to edge of your desk." She began circling through the room to see what creativity she would have in the class this term.

OOC: Okay class has started so conversations should be ending soon...remember Gemma can see you at all times... *DUN DUN DUN*....you can either use a graphics program of your choice, or draw and scan/take a picture of your creation, or use this website to create your money....remember we want a picture of your character as the main face on the money. Have fun with this! I'm excited to see what you come up with!
