"Doing quite well now that the castle seems to be a bit more clean thanks to all your efforts," he said with a quick wink. He was sure Toddles appreciated their efforts as well. Left the tiny house elf with more time on his hands to enjoy life. Then again, the poor thing had seemed rather depressed since the others had left. Maybe he should have some ice cream.
"I am indeed. I am a big supporter of Puddlemore United and Wigtown Wanderers if I had to pick and choose." Although he would attend any match should he happen to have tickets. Did she know that the Hogwarts Board of Governors had a quidditch star among its members? Very exciting stuff. "What about yourself? Besides your house team that is." Kahlan nodded, understanding exactly what he meant. She'd found the difference once everyone had started vacuuming Hogwarts to be insnae! It was just sooo.... clean!!!! In fact it made her quite happy to believe that Hogwarts had, at least at some point been an amazing and truly magical place to have been.
And then the blonde was beaming at the Professor, while it may have been incredibly biased she definitely was a proud supporter of Puddlemere United, in fact she didn't really have a choice in the matter but either way she still felt happy about that fact. "Well I also support Puddlemere United, my brothers on the reserve team, Liam Moriarty" she explained, beaming with pride at that fact, though she hated that she was related to him at times. Although considering he was part of the reserve team he wasn't well known, thankfully. "But otherwise I support the Ballycastle Bats" she finished her musing, it was a part of her Irish pride that made the witch support that team.
And still figure her brother probably should be playing reserve for them. Text Cut: Forrest Quote:

Or maybe, he'd never orientate at all.
Pushing the negative and SAD thoughts away, he realised he'd never praised Kahlan. "You were good there," he said timidly. Their talking about something he had no idea about made him turn to his shell again, and it took him some time to get out of it.
He just hoped they didn't notice he was distracted the whole time. Hearing Forrest speak again, the Slytherin girl turned to face the other first year, beaming at the compliment that he'd given her. Considering a lot of her childhood and family memories centered around Quidditch being told that she played well - by anyone- was a big thing for her considering it was usually her brother that was told that he was good at it. "Thanks" she replied, still beaming at him and fighting the urge to pull him into a hug, something that would've probably been another awkward moment for the two in just this one conversation! A small smirk started playing on her face though, remembering how he'd seemed quite worried for everyone who played. "Maybe one day I'll get around to teaching you how to play after you teach me football" she teased, emphasizing the foreign word, proud that she'd remembered it.
Though she was being truthful, if he wanted to learn she'd be happy to to teach him though she wouldn't make him if he really didn't want to. |
